NMDPD values the involvement of participants from developing countries and recognizes the financial challenges they may face in attending international meetings. NMDPD is thus offering financial support to selected individuals to attend the 2016 congress in Ljubljana.
Two bursaries will be awarded to participants from developing countries. Selection will be on a competitive basis and preference will be given to applicants presenting an abstract.

Applications must be accompanied by:
A letter of recommendation from any of the below:
- Parkinson Society
- Movement Disorders Society
- Hospital Department
- Research Institute/University Department
- Related Organization

Each bursary comprises of free congress registration, which includes:
- Participation in all scientific sessions
- Printed material of the congress
- Invitation to the Get-Together Reception on Thursday, October 6, 2016
- Coffee breaks
- Entrance to the exhibition

Applicants will be informed 2 months before the congress regarding the status of their bursary application.
